Our Editorial Standards

What We Publish
Numerologist.com publishes expert content on Pythagorean numerology, astrology, tarot, angel numbers, and related spiritual practices. We also provide free interactive numerology calculators used by millions of visitors each year.
Our goal is to make esoteric traditions genuinely useful for self-understanding. Not fortune-telling. Not vague spiritual platitudes. Practical insight grounded in established systems that have been refined over centuries.

Our Sources
Our content draws on recognized traditions and practitioners. For numerology, we work from the Pythagorean system with particular attention to the contributions of Kevin Quinn Avery and the esoteric teachings of the Western mystery traditions. Our tarot content is grounded in the B.O.T.A. (Builders of the Adytum) tradition established by Paul Foster Case, with its emphasis on Hebrew letters, Kabbalistic correspondences, and astrological assignments. Our astrology content is informed by the psychological astrology tradition developed at the Centre for Psychological Astrology in London, as well as the Hellenistic foundations of the practice.
We don't make things up. When we correct a common misconception - and we do this frequently, because popular numerology and astrology sites often repeat errors uncritically - we do so based on traceable source material, not personal opinion.

How Our Content Is Produced
Our editorial process combines research, writing, and review. Content is researched from established traditions and published reference material, written with the assistance of modern editorial tools, and reviewed by our editorial team before publication. We prioritize accuracy, accessibility, and genuine usefulness over volume.
We believe the best spiritual guidance reads like a conversation with a trusted friend - warm, direct, and free of unnecessary jargon. If a concept requires a technical term, we explain it. If a traditional interpretation is outdated or demonstrably wrong, we say so and explain why.

Guest Contributors
We feature content from guest practitioners including professional numerologists, astrologers, intuitive counselors, tarot readers, and spiritual teachers. Guest posts are attributed to their authors and reflect their individual perspectives and expertise. Our regular contributors include numerologist Roy Kirkland, intuitive counselor Jessica McKay, and practitioners across several spiritual disciplines.

What We Don't Do
We don't provide medical, financial, psychological, or legal advice. Numerology, astrology, and tarot are symbolic systems for self-reflection and personal insight. They are not substitutes for professional medical care, licensed therapy, or qualified financial guidance.
We don't claim to predict the future. We don't present spiritual practices as scientifically proven. And we don't publish content that promotes conspiracy theories, pseudoscientific health claims, or fear-based manipulation.

Accuracy and Corrections
We take accuracy seriously. Our numerology content uses established Pythagorean calculation methods. Our tarot interpretations follow documented esoteric traditions. Our astrology content reflects recognized astrological principles.
If you find an error in any of our content - a miscalculation, a factual mistake, a broken link - please contact us. We will review and correct verifiable errors promptly. We'd rather fix a mistake than defend one.

Editorial Independence
Our editorial content is independent of our commercial products and affiliate relationships. Product recommendations and affiliate links are clearly identified. Our content recommendations are based on editorial judgment, not commercial relationships.
