You do not have to do anything dramatic with the freedom that has arrived.

A lot of what is asked of 977 is, honestly, receptivity. The willingness to actually be free. To inhabit the spaciousness without reflexively filling it. To let the gravity of your own completed work ground you in a way it could not ground you while you were still in motion.

The new wants - the quieter ones, the strange-shaped ones, the ones that do not map cleanly onto any scoreboard - those will surface. You do not have to hunt them.

They have been waiting underneath the winning, and the winning is done. The room is quiet now. They will come forward when they are ready to be named.

When they do, you will notice something. They will not feel like performance material. They will not feel like the next chapter of the same book.

They will feel like the beginning of a book whose first few pages you did not know how to write until you finished the previous one with exactly the weight you just finished it with.

Two victories. A completion that closed the chapter those victories belonged to. And the freedom that comes out the other side - heavier than the freedom you used to imagine, steadier, no longer in any hurry, no longer needing the next scoreboard to feel real.
