How To Turn This Gemini Season Into A Summer Of Conscious Fulfillment and Magic!

We’ve just ended the time of Taurus , and we are now picking up the pace with quick moving Gemini.

I tend to link this sign with the throat chakra- Gemini is very much about communication, after all! And so, I feel that it would be appropriate to work with this energy center in the weeks ahead.

Gemini is ruled by Mercury, which is The Magician in Tarot. The throat chakra links not only to the themes of expression, truth and communication..but I also call this center the “magic maker”.

Magic creates change, and so does sound. It is from this center where we can make sounds and say words that vibrate, shifting and shaping patterns in the ether and moving intentions into form.

Focus On Your Voice & Words

Therefore, this month would be a good time to focus on having more awareness of what we say. What comes out of our mouth is arguably even more important than what goes in our mouth!

We could ask ourselves if we are speaking truthfully, saying what needs to be expressed, with consciousness and from the heart. For what we say has so much power.

We could also use our words to make magical statements.

For example, lately I have been developing a habit of thinking and saying what I am appreciating throughout each day, with gratitude.

For example, I think or say:

“I love where I live!”
“Dinner was awesome!”
“Those flowers are so beautiful.”

I have also been ending my daily meditations with statements of intentions and affirmations. You could make this practice a whole meditation session unto itself, and it could take as little as five minutes each day.

Some intentions I say (in the present tense) are:

I open to unexpected wonders and opportunities.
I draw to me now the perfect home that will come to me at the perfect time in a perfect way.
I improve continuously in my dance classes.

These are magical practices that create beneficial shifts within and without. You could try it as well, if you’d like! What is most important is that you feel inspired and lit up when you say them.

Gemini & Your Hands

Gemini also governs the hands, which is another magical tool of ours. They are the natural “wands” of our bodies. From them, we can direct energy and intention forth.

For example, using our pointed fingers or palms, we can charge objects such as food and water before consumption with innumerable benefits like healing, self-love, abundance, etc. We could even charge bath water and immerse ourselves in desired energies this way, as well!

Before doing this practice, I recommend aligning yourself first by visualizing connecting with the energies of earth and heaven (above and below), and the heart in the center.

Gemini & Mercury – Thought & Communication

Lastly, as mentioned before, Gemini is ruled by Mercury– a planet of thought and communication. Mercury is also known as Hermes. Hermes Trismegistus is held to be a knowledgeable and wise figure who was a master of transmutation. If you’d like, you could explore Hermetic Philosophy at this time to further explore the themes of the mind, the power of thought, magical alchemy and duality (symbolized by the Twins).
