Take a moment and think about something you really want. What special blessing would you like to come into your life? Is there a request you’d like to make on behalf of someone else, such as healing? Hold that intention, feel that blessing in your heart. Imagine receiving what you want — and/or your loved one receiving what they want — and sit with that feeling.
As I light the candle, look at the flame, and send your wish straight to the candle. It will burn on my altar for seven days, carrying your wish into the universe.
Group candle blessings work because we are all connected. We are all One — and there is no space where you end and something else begins. When you send your wish to the candle, you are entering a sacred circle of love and community. There is also no past or future. You can watch this video months after the candle has burned and put your wishes into it and still be part of our sacred circle.
