Whether you’re aware or not, you’ve always known the truth. You’ve heard your soul speak and when you were a child, you followed your inner guidance.
But perhaps lately you’ve lost sight of your compass. Your way. The path back home to you.
Many of us are led by ego, the social mask which we wear for the world, but our soul forever whispers, hoping we’ll listen and go within. While we may think the ego protects us, it merely acts as a barrier, getting in the way of our personal truth. Our biggest barrier to success in life is the ego, created based on the constructs of our upbringing, the society we were raised in, or the parental guidance and cultures we were presented with.
Your soul never lies, but your ego sure does.
“The core of your true self is never lost.
Let go of all the pretending
and the becoming you’ve done just to belong.
Curl up with your rawness and come home.
You don’t have to find yourself;
you just have to let yourself in.”
– D. Antoinette Foy
When we underestimate the power of our soul’s truth, fear is amplified manifesting itself into a reactive state.
Your ego is the biggest trickster on the block and offers you a false peace of mind, for when you give in, you’re offered a very satisfying, albeit temporary ‘fix’, leaving you jonesing for more (cue vicious cycle that’s almost impossible to break free from).
Letting the ego win is the easy way out, but in truth it’s an illusion, inevitably leading to destruction, sickness and perhaps even total removal from the true self. You’ve probably become so good at wearing this mask, that understanding your own truth feels impossible.
Left wondering who you are? The best of us have been there.
So, how can you begin to understand all of this?
Rise from the ashes
Amazing things often arise with the onslaught of complete chaos, shaking things up that no longer serve us. Like the metaphorical phoenix rising from the ashes, you too can take flight from despair. The annoying part is that things often have to hit to a ‘rock bottom’ level before we experience pain deep enough make a change, for us to really listen.
An attitude of gratitude is the best place to start. Focus on the positives from a place of gratitude – thanking the lessons, themes, or people that contributed to creating this difficult space for you, which has forced you to embody the energy you need to reach greater possibilities.
Find your creative outlet
If you’re feeling a surge of negative emotion, find a creative outlet to move the energy in a healthy way.
Get moving – whether it’s dancing, going for a bike ride, taking an aerobics class, hiking, swimming, yoga, painting, singing, walking your dog (or cat?), whatever it is that makes you come alive through action, commit to it in the moment, especially if you don’t want to. Physical movement is the quickest way to move internal emotional energy. You will thank yourself later and shake off the funk.
Discover harmful patterns and relationships
Find a sacred space and write down what relationships or patterns are harmful and no longer serve you.
Meditate on this and think beyond the obvious. It could be an old pattern or belief, a current relationship or it could even be your eating habits. Ask yourself, without words, what’s truly going on – you know deep down what the truth is. Trust what comes up and allow it to flow from you, without judgement, don’t seek to understand. In this moment, you are here to listen.
Give yourself the gift of freedom
Stop over-analyzing and worrying about what other people think.
Allow your true self to shine. Not sure who you are at the moment? Think back to when you were a child. What were the things you loved to do? What put you in a flow-like state? Give yourself permission to let that child out, with full expression. Afraid to do so? Rest assured that by allowing yourself this gift of freedom, you will encourage others to do the same. So if you can’t do it for yourself, do it for your loved ones. The world needs more self-assured, expressive people. And your evolution can create the possibility to lead others to their own freedom.
Choose mastery, not misery
It takes courage to face your fears but once you tackle them head-on, you’ll realize how much power you were giving away which was exhausting your time and energy. And that is something none of us can argue with.
It’s all about stepping into your sacred power to bring healing to the planet, to brighten the light energy, no longer contributing to the “dark forces”, which instill fear.
Connecting to your truth is the deepest level of mastery, while connecting to your wounding is the deepest level of misery.
You’re here to gain autonomy to uncover your Soul Blueprint and share your unique gifts with humanity collectively, contributing to global wellbeing.
Your universal truth will align you back to your soul’s path.
The more you resist, the more challenges you’ll experience.
Whether you like it or not, big shifts are happening.
The vibration of the collective is rising, and you’re being guided to step into the unknown. You’re being guided to override control from your analytical brain by tapping into truth via your emotional spirit, amplifying your manifestation abilities and co-creating with the universe. You’re being guided to finally unlearn your external programming and come back home.
This year is all about aligning to your innate gifts. Whatever programming was keeping you from stepping into your full personal power is now crumbling away.
You may feel a shift within your identity as you’re letting go of old constructs and templates, but you’ll perhaps feel ready to take over the world at the same time. Yes, it is confusing and scary, but it’s also very exciting and deep down it probably feels right.
As the veils of illusion are growing thinner, you’ll see more truths coming out and you’re being called to step forward, to be a leader and realize your soul’s truth. Now is the time. The choice is yours.
So, tell me below in the comments, which choice are you going to make? Are you going to commit to living your soul’s truth?
