Confront Your Fears
This week brings us the 3rd chakra for healing. This chakra is all about standing in your power. Repeat the affirmation “I am worthy” seven times each day.
Fear has a tendency to keep us stuck. Embracing fear is the gateway to enlightenment. When you embrace your shadow side it no longer holds any power over you. Remember what you resist persists and what you fear grows stronger. As you stand up to your fears this week vetting them out one-by-one, you will regain your courage and confidence and begin each day with a renewed sense of faith and hope.
Solitude Brings Healing
Sometimes we have so much going on in our life that we don’t have time to deal with all those emotions we are swamped with throughout the day. Simply pausing for a few moments with your hand on your heart and breathing deeply, holding that space for your feelings can be enough.
If you find fear is still ruling your life, you might need to take some time-out, maybe a weekend away alone by yourself. I’ve been experimenting with a day or whole weekend “unplugged.” With the only goal to do nothing and simply “be.” You don’t need to go and plan a whole weekend trip just shut off your electronics and hide your devices and spend time alone with yourself to face your fears and evolve.
“Fear No More” Meditation
Take a nice deep breath and close your eyes (if you’re able).
Place your hand on your heart if that’s comfortable for you.
Now I want you to think of a fear and it might just pop up for you. What are you afraid of? Allow it to come to you right now.
Now imagine walking through your life hand-in-hand with this fear instead of constantly running from it. Imagine allowing it to walk beside you.
Now I want you to imagine walking through a garden. This is the garden of fear. See your heart open and as you look around at the different fears that everyone has you’re not afraid. You realize you’re not alone. We all have these fears. In that moment you truly accept who you are and the fear that is within you and it’s ok.
Just imagine merging into one and dissolving that energy just evaporates as you accept it.
Now imagine that you’re continuing to walk through the garden of fear and any other fear that you have, any remnants that are hanging onto you are just left in that garden of fear. And there are gardeners that are tending to that. You need not worry about that.
You keep walking and now you move into the garden of love, joy, peace and happiness and eternal blessings. Feel yourself standing (or sitting) taller, rising higher and saying
I am worthy.
I am enough.
I am loved.
Take a nice deep breath and let that go.
This meditation is going to help you heal and clear any blockages in that 3rd chakra this week.
