YOUR Guardian Archangel, According to the Day you were Born!

Did you know that each day of the week is governed by a specific Archangel? Which means that if you know which DAY you were born on, you can easily discover the Archangel which oversees and protects that day, and therefore oversees and protects you! It’s information that can truly help and guide you through life. And as well as learning about your personal guardian Archangel, knowing (and working with) the resonant Archangel for each day of the week, on a specific day, can totally transform the flow of energy through your life!

But first, let’s go back to basics…

What are Archangels?

Archangels are the highest ranking Angels in the angelic order.  Working under their guardianship, there are many, many levels and types of other angelic beings, from cherubim and seraphim to principalities and virtues. So in angelic circles, Archangels are top dogs!

Archangels are predominantly associated with the Abrahamic religions – Christianity, Judaism and Islam – yet beyond organized religion, the Archangels are ever-present for a lot of people and they are even a personal mainstay for many. So you don’t need to be religious to believe in, or work with or connect to Angels. There aren’t hard and fast rules, BUT there are some things you can do, to make your practice more potent, so keep reading onto the very end, to discover what they are.

How many Archangels are there?

The most notable mention of the seven Archangels comes from the Catholic Book of Tobit when Archangel Raphael declares: “I am Raphael, one of the seven angels who stand in the glorious presence of the Lord, ready to serve him.” (Tobit 12:15)

It was originally the early Roman and European philosophers who began to allocate Archangels to days of the week, in much the same ways that planetary associations were also made. It’s important to realize that many, many calculation and connections went into these allocations. The people who made them were scholars and experts in many of the subtle energies we are only just beginning to remember in our modern lives.

Below are these same Archangelic associations to the days of the week. HOW to use them and work with the Archangels in your life, will be described afterwards, so keep on reading…

Archangelic energy is powerful.

If you’ve worked personally with any of the Archangels, then you’ll know this already.  If you’ve been brave and open enough to invite their presence into your life, you’ll have seen how quickly they can help to shift things, altering the shape of the world you inhabit in moments!

Angelic energy is light, refined, essential.

It can’t be weighed down by fear, anger, irritation or any of the heavy human emotions that I’ll bet you feel most days, and that routinely cloud your view of life.  You know when an Archangel is close because your own perspectives seem to clarify and these polarising feelings drop away with ease. And with a clearer, cleaner energy field, opportunities arise.  Synchronicities happen. Plans work out and life flows seamlessly. You could say miraculously.

But the archangels will only give so much.  They require something from you, too, to keep bumping up your life, love, work and relationships to the next level. So what is it?

It’s your participation.

Archangels won’t do the work for you.  You need to work in partnership with Archangels. And to make your partnership the best it can be, to make the changes in your life that you need, and you’re asking for, it’s vital to request the intervention of the right Archangel.  The Archangel that holds the precise power that you need.

Each archangel has different skills, specialities, interests, expertise.  Much like humans, they are gifted with fortitudes in some areas and leave other areas alone.  It’s the order of the Universe, it forms the basis of the patterns which tie it all together.  And like all great patterns, these angelic codes overlay and resonate with other templates, designs and sequences that move through our reality too. Patterns such as colour frequencies, planetary bodies, numbers, elements, human activities and … days of the week.

That’s right.

Which means that if you want to work specifically with one of them (try beginning with the Archangel that resides over the day you were born) and you choose your day with care, your efforts will be a whole lot more aligned (and more effective) than if you pick a day at random. This isn’t to say there is a “wrong” day to work with an Archangel.  Inviting in angelic assistance on any day of the week is a thousand times better than holding back and not pitching in for any help at all.

But try it.

Try invoking these Archangels on their days.

Try wearing their colors.

And try adding in some of their other associations too.

Follow this link to find out how to create your very own Angel Altar. Having one of these in your home is a powerful way to invite the energy of the Archangels into your life.

Remember, your participation is what counts.

We’d love to hear how you get on each day this week … share your stories below.

Many blessing to you.
