The Four Main Numbers

LIFE PATH. This comes from the person’s entire date of birth brought down to a single digit (or 11 and 22). It represents the person’s purpose in life.

EXPRESSION. This comes from the letters of the person’s name at birth, turned into numbers and reduced to a single digit (or 11 and 22). It represents the person’s natural abilities.

SOUL URGE. This comes from the vowels of the person’s full name brought to a single digit (or 11 and 22). Remember that Y is usually classed as a vowel. In ‘Lynda’ it is classed as a vowel, but it is a consonant in ‘Yolande’. This number represents the person’s inner motivation – what they really want out of life.

BIRTHDAY. This comes from the person’s day of birth brought down to a single digit (except for 11, 22 or 29). It represents a sub-lesson to be learned in this life. This number works with the LIFE PATH number for the purpose of directing the expression.
