Everything in the universe is made of energy.

Your body, organs, emotions and thoughts are all forms of energy. If you looked at the cells of your body under a microscope you’d see molecules swirling around in space, and you’d realize that nothing is actually solid. The only thing that differentiates your energy from someone else’s is vibration and frequency.

The magic is, we are truly all connected, and there’s no place that you stop and something else begins. This is what makes energy healing so incredibly effective. So what is energy healing?

What Is Energy Healing?

Energy healing is any modality that changes or manipulates your frequency and/or the vibration of your space. EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a form of energy healing that you can learn to use on yourself. It requires that you tap on certain pressure points on the body while changing your beliefs with specific statements. You’re essentially creating new neural pathways in the brain.

Reiki, acupuncture, and the Emotion Code and Body Code by Dr. Brad Nelson are also forms of energy healing.

How can you benefit?

Whenever you’re struggling with illness, it’s because there’s something stopping the flow of energy within. That blockage stops the body from healing or detoxing easily, so energy healing helps to move those blockages out of the way and create more flow in the body.

The number one thing that blocks energy in the body is trapped emotions. A trapped emotion is a ball of energy about the size of a grapefruit, vibrating at the frequency of an emotion. When you experience an emotion with great intensity and you don’t have permission to express that emotion fully, it can become trapped in the body. If you have hundreds of these trapped emotions in your space, it can be very hard for you to experience flow, and this is when you begin developing chronic illnesses. An energy healer can help you release these trapped energies and restore flow.

Do you have trapped emotions?

If you had a childhood in which you learned that certain emotions were unwelcome (such as anger and grief), you may have learned to repress those emotions. Repressed emotions like guilt, shame and rage are destructive when they aren’t allowed to come to the surface of your awareness for healing.

Look for an energy healer you trust. See what modality resonates with you most. I’ve had tremendous success using EFT and the Body and Emotion Code work with my clients. And then go courageously forth on your journey to healing. Sometimes healing is as simple as allowing yourself to express yourself fully.
