Your birth date is among the most important determinants in your numerology chart. You’ve likely heard of the life path number, but there’s so much more your birth day numerology can tell you.
From the moment we first open our eyes in this world, we take in numbers in their various forms. Numerology is an ancient tradition that explains the significance of the numbers in our lives. These meanings are practical and also highly spiritual.
Your numerology start with your vibratory number. More commonly known as the life path number, it’s derived from your date of birth.
Altogether, your numerology birth date holds a great deal of information that can tell you a lot about yourself. To begin with, the life path number outlines things that affect your life, including opportunities, talents, obstacles, relationships, monetary investments, and more.
There are several numbers that derive from your date of birth. There are four others besides the life path number (all described below). Not to be confused with the destiny number (derived from your name), these numbers are collectively known as “destiny numbers” for what they can reveal about your life.
The life path number is the number that everybody wants to calculate from their numerology birth date. It makes use of the birth day, month, and year.
To calculate your life path number, first add up the year (all four numbers) to get a two-digit number and further reduce it to a single-digit number. Perform the same reduction if you’re born on a two-digit date and/or month. Then, add up the single-digit year, day, and month numbers and reduce to one of the nine single-digit numbers (1–9). The only exception is if you arrive at a master number of 11 or 22, each of which is a life path number on its own.
In addition to other interpretations, you can use your life path number to determine your career or life’s calling. It can also tell you about the experiences and people you tend to attract.
Whether or not you’re thrilled with what your life path number tells you, you should pay attention to it. Acting in accordance with your life path can help you avoid frustrations and inner conflicts in life.
Day of Birth Number
This number (1–31) comes from the day of the month that you were born. It bears a similarity to the Moon in astrology.
The day of birth number describes the type of person you were at the beginning of life. It’s about early childhood characteristics and talents. Some people yearn for independence at a young age, while others may develop a strong sense of belonging.
This number tells you how you tend to see yourself. It shows the inborn abilities that make you feel most comfortable. Your close friends will likely recognize you better by your day of birth characteristics, rather than those attributed to your life path number.
If you happen to have a double-digit day of birth number, some numerologists may reduce it to a single-digit number when performing your numerology reading. This is often done in an effort to cover more bases (since you may share certain characteristics with the corresponding single-digit day of birth number). However, that’s not going to change your numerology chart.
Month of Birth Number
The month of birth number is simply the month of your birth (1 to 12). Like a character analysis. it describes how your formative years are influencing your adult life. This number may decide whether you become a detail-oriented person who’s highly capable of organizing, or someone who has a highly-developed creative talent.
Of course, your formative years influence how you turn out in life. However, the month of birth number isn’t cemented immediately in childhood. It’s supposed to shape your life path starting at about 28 to 56 years of age.
The thing to keep in mind is that October (month 10) vibrates with the number 1 and December the number 3. November (month 11) can be the master number 11 or the numerology number 2, subject to the interpretation of your numerologist.
Year of Birth Number
Fittingly, the year of birth number (1–9 after reducing your year of birth) shows the general theme of your life. You can use the solar year of your birth to determine and predict the experiences that will help you find our niche. This number clues you into the obligations you’re going to have, that will allow you to develop and mature in life.
In general, people gravitate towards those who possess a compatible year of birth numbers. That’s because this number is a representation of your general character. If you feel comfortable in the presence of a highly-ambitious colleague and like their approach to business, there might be a numerological reason for this. The two of you probably have compatible numbers.
Similarly, if you especially connect with someone in your social circle who shares your love of family, this could be a result of compatibility in year of birth numbers.
Of course, it’s important to approach the interpretation with an open mind. That’s true of almost anything numerology-related.
Similar to the day of birth number, your attitude number is a window into your nature, broadly speaking. What’s different is that the attitude number also tells you about your acquired ways of acting.
To put it another way, the attitude number explains other people’s impressions of you. If your attitude number doesn’t jibe with your day of birth or life path number, people will notice this inconsistency. This doesn’t have to be a bad thing, in that it may actually make you more interesting to others.
To calculate your attitude number, add up your birth day and month (skipping the year) and reduce to a single-digit number of 1–9.
As you can see, your numerology birth date is more than your life path number. Moreover, you can interpret some of the numbers in completely different ways, giving a whole new meaning to your birth day and year.
The well-known life path number reveals your greatest strengths and weaknesses. The day of birth number describes your early years. The month of birth number tells how your formative years influence your adult life, and the year of birth number expresses your matches with other people. Finally, the attitude number tells you what you can change to better yourself.
