Numerology has been recorded in the human experience for over 4000 years. Numerology has been discovered in ancient cultures globally. We know present day numerology is largely influenced by the teachings of Pythagoras, most notably known as the father of mathematics.
Pythagoras was a philosopher and mathematician who believed all things are numbers and all numbers represent spiritual influences that transcend into our daily existence. Born in 582 BC, he established his own school and taught arithmetic, music, astronomy and geometry.
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy, this is physics.” –Albert Einstein
Einstein was talking about how everything in our universe is energy and all energy operates at a specific frequency (represented numerically). Numerology exists because each number operates at a different frequency, and therefore creates different outcomes. In addition, each letter can translate into a numerical frequency and carries a different energy.
It is easy to doubt new ways of thinking. We’ve been trained to be cynics by the news, advertisers and the negative people in our lives. When someone tells me that their name or birthdate has no significance on who they are I always ask a very practical question: “Chris, do you think elementary school experience would have been different if your name was Urkel Stein?”
