Hello Everyone. I hope you are doing well. We are in the second half of February now, and its moving into a new energy than what we’ve experienced the last few months. Things will lift a bit and be a bit lighter, as we look at the possibilities and move forward on our paths to change ourselves and change the world.
February 18 – Sun and Neptune In Pisces
On Saturday the Sun moves into Pisces, the end of the astrology cycle. Aries, or the New Year, begins next month. Ruled by Neptune, Pisces is the sign of Spirituality, but as each planet has a dark and light side, it can also be an indication of deception and illusion. TV and Movies are ruled by Neptune, which appear to be real, but of course are not. I truly believe there will come a time when movies and TV watching are rarities, as living your life, vs staring at an illusion, is not about really living. Even psychologist say you should not let your child watch TV or video’s before the age of 4 or 5, so their brains develop and they are smarter. How can you explore when you are sitting and staring? You have to move around, touch and feel, make noise, laugh and fall down.
Neptune is now home, in Pisces. She has not been here for 252 years! She is very happy to be home now, and it’s why Spirituality and Religion have taken such a focal point in our lives. It is time for becoming more than were are, evolving and growing. Think about it this way, if we only use 10% of our brains, what happens if we unlock the other 90% — what might we be capable of doing!!!!
February 26 – New Moon in Pisces (Emotions!)
Feb 26th is a New Moon in Pisces which gives us a look into our emotions as they relate to spiritual matters. New Moons happen 12 times a year, one in each sign, and signify a chance to make a break-though in your patterns, to toss the old to make way for the new, to be adventurous. Take a risk on the New Moon, wear Red if you usually wear black or beige. Dance in your living room and turn the music up, especially if you’re a quiet tenant or resident. Say NO when your friends want something from you and you just don’t want to. Be authentic. It will change your life.
Mars & Venus in Aries Till March 11th (Love & Lust)
Mars and Venus in Aries are traveling side by side until March 11th, so love/sex is on our minds. It’s a time to meet potential mates, solidify existing relationships into something dynamic, energized and fun. Magnetism is in the air, everywhere. Even if you’re 100, sex could be on your mind now. Have some fun everyone, it’s not always like this! Aries is always about the new, so start something new now, because you have the energy to do it.
Stress Up Ahead
Uranus/Eris, squaring Pluto and Opposing Jupiter continue. It’s lots of stress, lots. This kind of stress will be with us for a while. It’s intense so we will take the time to look within, to question our life and it’s meaning, to look at our work and see if it nurtures or tortures us, to look at relationships and see who deserves to be in our life and who needs to go, and to see if the society we live in needs changes to accommodate us all in a good way. We are doing a lot of healing our wounds, emotional wounds, whether they happened last month or when we were 5. It’s time to release the pain, and replace it with joy. It’s time to forgive, and let the connection fully go, so something better will replace it. Find ways to bring smiles to yourself and be more fun and spontaneous.
Meditation & Astrology To Help You During This Spiritually-Charged & Challenging Time
One of the things you can do to deal with stress is MEDITATE. Prayer is talking to God, Meditation is plugging in to your Higher Mind, and LISTENING. Meditation is an amazing discipline that will bring great changes to your life if you practice it daily. Meditation lowers blood pressure; it energizes you and gives you a sense of well being; it enhances intuition and psychic abilities; and it relaxes you and relieves stress as ONLY meditation can do.
Deepak Chopra is now studying meditation at his California facilities, where a myriad of scientists have come on board to study the effects on people who mediate and those who do not. The findings are astounding, and the research has just begun. Meditators are healthier in every way – stronger immune systems, lowered stress, lowered cholesterol, better sleep habits, oxygen is used to maximum capacity by the body, and an increase in production of anti aging hormones. Studies have also shown it helps restore the brain functions like memory, empathy and a stronger sense of self. Writings from 1500 BC mention meditation, so its been around for nearly 5000 years. As someone who has been meditating since 1982, I can assure you that meditation can make your life so much better in as few as 8 weeks. It’s like plugging into Universal Energy and getting fully recharged, and reminded of what is important and what is not.
There are all kinds of meditation out there, so look around and see what works for you. You should try to do it the same time daily, so try it at different times and see what works best for you. I do it at 7PM daily as a routine, though on busy days or nights out I move the time around. Mostly it’s the end of the day relaxation and plugging in time for me. Meditations positive effects cannot be over stated. In my Life Coaching, I use it to help people get out of depression, low energy and the practice brings in a more positive outlook and options begin to arise.
Like any new discipline, it takes practice and you have to make the time to do it. But once you’ve made it a habit, you will know how important it is and make it a part of your life forever. ANY form of meditation, practiced regularly (at least 4 times a week for 20 minutes or more), will really ground you and make you a more confident and balanced person.
Let me know how it’s going. Remember, we’re on a mission to become the very best we can be, and change the world by changing ourselves. All is not lost, this is just the beginning of a great new world, which is what is making the status quo scramble so much…they know the end of their way of life is upon us. Joy is on the horizon, and with some practices and discipline, you can be a part of it too. But know that this will be hard work. Nothing of value comes easily, so take it slow and be gentle with yourself in the process. Prayer, meditation and being kind as a way of life is very rewarding.
