Yes, when something unexpected or unpleasant happens you have a human reaction, and depending on how conscious and aware you are, you will notice the reaction sooner than later and shift into neutral.
From neutral, you can move to look objectively at the issue … What is this telling me? What is it pointing out to me? If I don’t want this…what would I prefer?
